Life can feel overwhelming, exhausting and simply too much to handle sometimes. Difficult and painful experiences can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. Past trauma and struggles don’t always remain in the past and can profoundly impact our present. We all need support, especially during these extraordinary times, and I would be honored to hold space for you to explore, process, heal, and grow.
Healing and growth don’t happen in isolation, they happen relationally. In our therapeutic relationship I will be an empathetic guide and support, creating an atmosphere of safety, understanding, and empowerment. My approach is humanistic, meaning it is warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, and genuine. It is also integrative, meaning I will incorporate different skills and techniques based on your specific needs. I am particularly passionate about helping people reconnect to their emotions, needs, bodies, and intuitions. To find out more, please visit my website.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a Nationally Certified Counselor, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern supervised by Michelle Silva Segura, LPC-S, LMFT-S, SEP. I have lived in Central Texas for over 15 years and was an artist and hairstylist before finding my life’s passion in counseling. Personally and professionally, I strive to be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, non-pathologizing, and inclusive of all intersections of race, culture, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. My aim is to assume nothing and simply to get to know you as the unique individual you are, deeply worthy of being known, accepted, and supported.
I look forward to connecting!
